She’s Terribly Greedy 2022
She’s Terribly Greedy was the debut professional production of stop drop + roll theatre. Inspired by Sylvia Plath’s novel The Bell Jar, this work interrogated the narrator’s insatiable desire to exist as all of her fractal identities. The psyche of the protagonist, Ellenore, was cast across five separate actors. This choice, in conversation with live AV and a set built from mirrors, resulted in a kaleidoscopic entanglement of limbs, reflections, refractions and identities.
“She’s Terribly Greedy is an intelligent and pertinent piece of theatre…. This show absolutely hits. It’s a slightly cynical exploration of feminism, youth culture, and the cruel ironies of finding one’s identity. So, after seeing this piece – where do you see yourself in five years? One thing’s for certain, this crew will be doing something wonderful.” - Laura Money, 4th Wall Media
